Citroën CX Survival Guide - Part 1

To find more articles in this series, use the Search Box on the left, or Click Here.

Let's say you own an extremely unique vehicle -- like a Citroen CX for example. Finding parts for it would be hard.
Let's say its been over 20 years since the last Citroen CX was made -- that would make it harder.
Let's say you live in the USA, where these cars were never officially sold -- that would make it harder.
Let's say you're on a budget, and can't ship your car off to Dave Burnham Citroen or Citroen Concours or order parts from Western Hemispheres or from Europe every time it needs a spark plug or a windshield wiper --that would make it harder.

But don't worry: for all the thousands of you OK, hundreds of you -- OK for both of you that own or are considering owning a Citroen CX, and live in the USA, here's a guide to help you find replacement parts, and to solve common problems.

Please Note: This guide is not intended to undermine the business such as those mentioned above. Those businesses exist to help you keep your Citroen running and looking good. It is hoped that this guide will keep more CX's out of the crusher, and conserve parts for concours and show cars that need 100% authentic parts.

Believe it or not, by using this guide you can find many parts for your CX at your "regular", local Auto Parts Store.

Citroën Muisic Page Updated with the Song from Citroën's Paris Auto Show Flash Mob

The song Feel So Close by Calvin Harris was featured during the Paris Auto show this year when Citroen used the song during an attempt to create a "Flash Mob" at their display. It was actually quite successful, with a crowd forming and dancers dancing around the incredible Citroen Numero 9 prototype.
