Yes, You can by a new Citroën in the United States (Part 2 - Update)

In Part 1 of this article, We learned that there are several models of cars sold in the united states that are essentially the same vehicle as Citroen Models sold in Europe. This article updates that with one more, and some speculation about the future....

Shown above is the Citroën Jumper, Sold in the US as the Dodge Ram ProMaster... In both cases, These Commercial vans are actually the Fiat Ducato manufactured from 2007 to the present. They have been imported to the US since 2013. As with the vehicles listed in the previous article, this would also mean that you could import the Citroen branded vehicle with far less hassle (meaning crash testing, etc.). In fact I have seen a Citroën Jumper in person, registered in this country, that was imported under just that "loophole". Alternatively, you can simply purchase the Ram version, and then "Re-brand" it by ordering the badges and trim pieces.

There is yet another Citroen that you may be able to by soon in the US:

The Citroen C1 is, like the others, not actually made by Citroën. It's a Toyota Aygo (Get it -- "I - Go".) The Toyota Aygo is sold in most countries except the United States, but there is significant talk of it being sold here as early as the 2016 Calendar Year.
